****Tot and Pre-Alpha Skaters
IcePlex recommends the following tips for your skater to enjoy their class. Dress in layers of clothing; remember ice rinks are cold. Clothes should not restrict movement. Gloves or mittens should always be worn; have a spare pair. Helmets (bike, hockey, etc.) are strongly recommended for children under six. Thin socks should be worn. Please use the following information when asking for skate rentals. Ask for the same size skate as your skater’s shoe size (Only whole sizes available.) Skates should fit snug, toes just barely touching the front. If toes don’t touch the front, then they are too big. When tying skates, make sure the laces are snug and that all the holes or lopes are used. When classes are over, please tuck in your laces and return the skates to Guest Services.
