Fitness - Core Programs

Core Fitness Programs includes classes for Adults, Pre & Post Natal, Active Older Adults, Teens, Cycling Classes and Water Fitness Classes. Adult Core Fitness

Body Step

Ages 14+. BODYSTEP Retains the essence of a great step class and adds the fun of athletic movements to the mix with huge amounts of spunk, personality, driving music and great training principles.

BodyVive

Ages 14+. BODYVIVE is the new low impact, 55-minute class, that lets you choose how hard you work. It integrates aerobic exercise, resistance training for strength and stability, and stretching and mobility. BODYVIVE is especially suited to active adults and beginners.

Boot Camp

Ages 14+. Advanced class. A dynamic cardio and muscular conditioning workout that builds strength and stamina. Running, push ups, sit ups and stabilization exercises are interspersed in a plyometric training concept that combines agility and strength work. Come prepared to work HARD!

BOSU Ball

Ages 14+. This class uses a BOSU balance trainer (a ½ ball on a flat, stable platform) and includes drills that increase endurance and power, agility, balance and core strength. Cardiovascular drills will be alternated with resistance and core training.

Cardio Combo

Ages 14+. A total body workout comprising of kick boxing, step, strength training, sports drills, interval training and other cross training techniques.

Cardio Core

Ages 14+. Start your week off with a class that will burn calories, work your midsection – targeted toning where it counts – interspersed with bouts of challenging cardio routines. All levels accommodated but expect a good workout whatever your stage of fitness.

Circuit Challenge

Ages 14+. A challenging mix of cardio and strength circuit training targeting each muscle group. This class builds endurance, strength and helps you with weight loss! Fun and innovative exercises will be performed at stations using Body Bars, BOSU Balls, medicine balls and jump ropes.

Espresso Circuit

Ages 14+. A great class with concentration on cardio conditioning and strength training. A circuit and interval opportunity to get in shape fast.

Forever Fit

Ages 14+. A total body workout including low impact step aerobics and muscle toning for those problem areas!

Max Toning

Ages 14+. Need to get those muscles more defined? Then taking this class is the way to go. You will improve your muscle tone without having to lift weights alone.

Ripped

Ages 14+. An intense class focusing on the core and lower body. Advanced level class.

Step Cardio Combo

Ages 14+. A combination of step and high/low impact aerobics to burn additional calories. Workout includes some target toning.

Tone and Stretch

Ages 14+. Great way to start the week with 45 minutes of toning and stretching. We will focus on strengthening and lengthening the entire body. Geared for all levels.

Ages 14+. A workout for the abdominal and gluteal area, taking you through a series of exercises to lengthen, strengthen, define and tone!

Triple C - Cardio, Core, Chisel

Ages 14+. Power conditioning, high intensity combination workout designed to challenge your cardiovascular , muscular and endurance systems. A full body workout that is easy to follow but that will yield results. All levels.

Women PLUS Weights

Ages 14+. Join a step-based training class geared towards plus sizes. This class integrates safe exercise techniques using hand weights, body bar and floor exercises for a complete workout.

Pre & Post Natal

Training for Two

Ages 18+. Expectant mothers and those who have recently delivered will enjoy a safe, supportive environment for exercise. Taught by a certified instructor, activities include low impact and step aerobics, stretching and toning.

Active Older Adults

Stretch & Flex

Low impact land based class offering opportunities to improve muscle toning and functionality. Exercises are adaptable, and can be performed while seated in a chair. Great results in mobility, flexibility and muscle functioning seen.

Teen

Teen Plus

Ages 10-13. This class teaches middle school students how to exercise in the Fitness Center. It introduces the essential aspects of a fitness session including warm-up, cardio, strength training, stretching and cool down. We will work on various cardio equipment, the selectorized Magnum weight machines and FreeMotion strength equipment.

Cycling

RPM & Challenge RPM

Ages 14+. Experience the ride of your life! RPM® is an indoor cycling program for developing cardiovascular capacity. Burning up to 700 calories in a single session, RPM® is a favorite of those wanting to reduce body fat.

Cycling Plus

Ages 14+. This class concentrates on consistent energy usage, optimal fat burning, and smooth steady pedaling. Heart rate intensity is sustained between 65-90% of maximum. Class ends with core strength exercises.

Cycling & Strong

Ages 14+. Get both cycling cardio and strength training. Alternating each track between a high energy cardio routine on the bike, with off-the-bike work on strength and core development.

Endurance Cycling

Ages 14+. This interval training class uses different moves on our stationary bikes to take your heart rate between 65-90% of maximum.

Triathlon Cycling

Ages 14+. Spin class for triathlete focusing on specific cycling skills needed for optimal performance including fixed interval sets, pyramids, superspins, standing sprints, tempo sets, one-leg spinning drills and recovery.

Water

Aqua TBC

Ages 14+. A low impact, total body, cardio class. An aerobic exercise class that is easy on the joints and promotes strength, flexibility and cardio fitness. A challenge for all fitness levels.

Aqua Tone

Challenge yourself with low impact, cardio moves using STEPS and water resistance. For increased intensity, water fitness equipment will be incorporated for the upper body.

H2O Interval

Ages 14+. A low-intensity class with cardio and strength exercises. Aqua dumbbells and STEPS are used to add resistance and challenge all fitness levels.

Aqua Flow

Ages 14+. Receive the benefits of yoga postures plus the flowing movements of Ahi Chi and Tai Chi. Enhances flexibility, strength, breathing and body awareness. Great for non-swimmers.
