Youth & Family Programs include a variety of group fitness and development classes, such as babysitting training, a parent and tot class, youth fitness, dance, baton, cheerleading, sports skills classes and martial arts! ATA Karate Kids
Ages 6-15. This program is based on lifetime learning of concepts and technical skills. We building blocks for this system are based on monthly themes such as goal setting, self-control, self-awareness, perseverance, respect and the art of Korean Taekwondo. Additional uniforms can be purchased for $50.

Ballet (Youth)
Ages 5+. Ballet classes are a progressive system of classical instruction designed to provide carefully graded classes for pre-schoolers through school-aged children. Please come to the first class with leotard and ballet shoes.

Basketball Skills
Ages 6-7. Michael Jordan got started this way. Learn the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting. Game type situations will be played.

Baton Twirling (Beginner)
Ages 5+. Toss, spin, march and twirl in this fun class! Learn beginning baton twirling skills combined with dance movement. Regulation baton required. Baton may be purchased on the first day of class from instructor for $15.

Baton Star Spirit (Youth)
Ages 5-10. Our award-winning performance and competition baton twirling teams perform at community events and compete at the local, state and national levels. Instructor invitation required. Enroll with age as of 9/01/08.

Baton Star Spirit (Junior)
Ages 11+. Our award-winning performance and competition baton twirling teams perform at community events and compete at the local, state and national levels. Instructor invitation is required.

Cheerleading
Ages 6-9. Come join us for the exciting sport of cheerleading! You will learn various cheers, jumps, stunts and chants. This is a non-competitive class that welcomes beginners and novice participants.

Fencing
Ages 8+. Learn the beginning to intermediate skills of fencing: footwork, lunge, offensive and defensive moves. Most of all, enjoy the fun and excitement that this sport has to offer. All equipment provided. Tournaments will be held every 16 weeks.

Guy Singer Dance Studio
Ages 6-11. Classes in ballet and tap. This is a continuous program (builds in skills learnt each session) and concluded with a recital in June, 2009 at UW-Parkside.
