What a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist means to you:
Our Therapeutic Recreation program is managed and directed by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS®). The NCTRC is the only nationally recognized credentialing agency for therapeutic recreation.
Part of its vision is to be a leader in consumer protection in therapeutic recreation. A CTRS® helps individuals recover basic motor functioning and reasoning abilities, build confidence, and socialize effectively to enable greater independence.
