Where do I drop off and pick up my child

Drop off is from 6:30am to 9:00am in the field house (Tyke, Junior, Senior groups) and Lakeview Studio (Trailblazer groups). Pick up is from 4:00-6:00pm in the field house (Tyke, Junior, Senior groups) and Lakeview Studio (Trailblazer groups). If you are dropping off or picking up any time in between you will need to contact your child's group directly to find out where the best spot to drop off/pick up may be since the group will be out around the RecPlex following their daily schedule. If you are dropping off for PM half day you are able to drop your child off at the Lakeview Studio entrance between 12:00 and 12:30pm with a counselor who will bring them to their groups location.

What are the hours of operation
6:30am to 6:00pm, structure activity time is from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Does the price of summer camp include care before and after structured activities?

June 7th-August 31st

Are you closed at all during summer camp
No, camp will be open Monday-Friday, June 7th-August 31st

What paperwork do I need to submit to register my child for summer camp 
Every child participating in summer camp will need to have a filled out registration packet, including their monthly calendars with their summer camp schedule.

Where can I find the registration paperwork 
Registration paperwork is online under the summer camp tab, under your child's age group

Does my child need to have a set schedule or can it change each week
Your child does not need a set schedule during the summer; however you must submit your child's schedule on the monthly calendars provided with the registration packet. Your child must be signed up for a least 2 days during the week they are attending. There is no 1 day option. 

Can I make changes to my child's schedule 

How do I make changes to my child's schedule
Changes to your child's schedule must be submitted to the Youth Supervisor (Jackie Hill at jhill@pleasantprairiewi.gov). All changes must be given with a two weeks' notice.

Am I still charged for the days my child does not attend 
Yes, we do not give credits for any missed days of care.

Is your facility peanut fee 
No, we strive to be peanut safe and will make accommodations when needed.

Do you provide a lunch 
We do offer a hot lunch program for an additional fee ($5.28 per lunch). If your child is needing a hot lunch they must let the counselors know when they are signed in for the day. Hot lunch orders must be submitted by 9:30am.

How our hot lunches charged 
They are billed to your account at the end of each week.

Do you provide a snack 
Yes, we do provide one afternoon snack.

What should my child wear to camp 
Comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.

What should my child bring to camp 
A sack lunch (if not getting hot lunch), sunscreen, backpack or small bag to keeps items in, swimsuit, towel and water bottle.

Can my child bring their electronics to camp (cell phone, ipad, game devices) 
No, our summer camp is unplugged. No child will be allowed to use their cell phones, ipads or game devices. Children who will use cell phones for parent communication only will need to have signed a written agreement, please contact the Youth Supervisor for this agreement.

Will you apply sunscreen 
Our counselors follow our sunscreen policy and will help any camper who needs help applying sunscreen.

Can you give my child medication while at camp 
Yes, a medication form must be filled out for your child.

Does my child have to go outside 
Yes, due to the nature of our camp every child must follow their group's daily schedule, this will consist of time outside each day.

Can I pick my child up outside the morning and afternoon drop off and pick up times 
Yes, if you are picking up outside the AM and PM drop off and pick up times you must contact your child's group to find out the best place to pick up your child. Camp doors are only unlocked from 6:30-9:00am and 3:30-6:00pm.
